Rolling Stones man joins up with Stereophonics PDF Print E-mail

ImageRonnie Wood joined Stereophonics on stage as they kicked off the Teenage Cancer Trust shows at the Royal Albert Hall last night.

The Rolling Stones guitarist played a cover of the classic Faces acoustic track Ooh La La, as well as Handbags and Gladrags. 

Tom Jones also joined the Welsh band for a rendition of Mama Told Me Not To Come.

Meanwhile, the run of gigs in aid of the charity continues in the capital on Tuesday night as comedian Kevin Bridges takes to the stage, before Van Morrison headlines on Wednesday night alongside special guests. The Who and Wilko Johnson play Thursday night, Paul Weller and Johnny Marr Friday, before Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds bring the shows to a close on Saturday night, with support from Future Islands.
