Track Review: Hidden Charms - 'Sunnyside' PDF Print E-mail

ImageHidden Charms are seemingly a band who you want to keep an eye out for, if you haven't already. Having been gigging up and down the country, they've supported Razorlight and worked alongside hotly-tipped young producer Young & Sick to record this debut track ‘Sunnyside'.
This song is a great insight of what's to come from this young UK four piece. Its charming with soft percussion sounds and a soothing tambourine. ‘Sunnyside' holds all the essentials of an old school rock n roll classic and I'm not talking britpop stuff i'm talking Chuck Berry and Stones. It has a groovy bass that allows the more mellow sounds to flourish around it while the vocals are reminiscent of a young Jagger, strutting his stuff and making a meaningful mark on the music scene.

Have a listen here.
