ImageTelly favourite Chris Ramsey is back in the North East this autumn - with a brand new show. Fresh from a complete sell-out, twice extended 2012 tour, lots of Celebrity Juice and a starring role in BBC2 sitcom Hebburn, Ramsey visits the Witham Hall, Barnard Castle, on Saturday 12 October. The South Shields star is road-testing material at Funny Way To Be for his new show, The Most Dangerous Man on Saturday Morning Television.

In his 2013/2014 tour, Ramsey takes his brush with on air censorship as a jumping off point to muse on life, mistakes, expectation, offence and what happens when you say the wrong thing in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Chris' show in Barnard Castle coincides with series two of North East sitcom Hebburn, which returns to BBC2 in the autumn.

Funny Way To Be Comedy Club organiser Peter Dixon said: "This will be the fourth time Chris has been with us. He always gives a masterful performance and receives a great reception.

"There is a great deal of excitement in Teesdale about the event, which will be one of the shows in the first season of the newly-refurbished Witham Hall in Barnard Castle.

"It has been great to Chris rise to such national prominence over the last few years.  Watching him preview his new show in an intimate surrounding is going to be a very special occasion."

This is a unique opportunity to see one of Britain's best young comics at work.
The show starts at 8.00pm. Doors are 7.30pm.  There is a bar.

Tickets for all Funny Way To Be shows are available online here.
